HTC invests 35 million dollars to target cloud computing to boost market rankings

HTC, the banner of Taiwanese technology in Taiwan, has long been the most recognised smartphone brand for Android 4 (ice Cream Sandwich) users. It has been reported recently that HTC is preparing a big investment aimed at better integrating cloud computing and mobile technology into its own business platform to further reduce past spending on intermediaries.

It has been reported that HTC has replaced the BlackBerry's fifth-place seat in the smartphone market. HTC hopes to use the latest investment to make it a step further in the smartphone market. OnLive recently reported that it had acquired HTC's $40 million trillion investment earlier in 2011, and recently OnLive has laid off a massive layoff and issued an official statement announcing that OnLive has been sold to another company and is in the course of restructuring. But the failure to invest in OnLive does not stop HTC from continuing to expand its business capabilities.

For this 35 million-dollar investment, HTC has just given a very brief response: the investment will integrate social, mobile and cloud computing capabilities into HTC's existing platform to better serve enterprise-class users.
