Objective to analyze the functional structure of the layout-oriented industrial document management system for manufacturing industry, and how to build a cloud platform of service on demand by combining with cloud computing. Methods according to the mature manufacturing-oriented layout industrial document management system functional requirements, from which can be combined with cloud computing functional requirements to make IT service, and then based on these services using sophisticated server virtualization technology to build a realistic demand for the cloud platform. Results after the function of document management system is serviced, the user can customize one or more of the services according to the need, and realize the requirement of service delivery on demand. Server virtualization technology enables services to transparently serve individual users. Users need not care about device management unrelated to their own business. Conclusion the paper constructs a cloud platform for the manufacturing-oriented industrial document management, which can meet the user's requirement, reduce the user cost and improve the working efficiency.
