Microsoft shows what the Windows onboard system will look like in the future with the Metro interface

The system is similar to Apple's CarPlay concept by projecting the contents of the handset directly onto the vehicle control system.

According to The Verge, Microsoft's car products are now being tested on real vehicles and can be seen using mirrorlink standards from existing prototypes. MirrorLink is a "car networking" standard jointly launched by a number of internationally renowned handset makers and carmakers, designed to standardize the efficient connectivity of smartphones and on-board systems, and to form a good user experience. Currently, companies that support the standard include Nokia, Sony, Volkswagen, Honda, Toyota and Citroen.

The basic idea of windows in is to project the contents of Windows Phone directly onto the car's built-in screen. The live demo shows how developers can develop applications for automobiles. The overall interface looks like a scaled-down version of Windows 8, where users can swipe through different tiles, the main interface, and use broadcasts, maps, and various applications.

Just before the official release of CarPlay, Apple called its on-board system IOS in the Car,windows, which is not yet ready for the market, is not yet available, and it is not clear whether any car manufacturer has indicated that the Microsoft Windows in Idea. It may take a while for us to see the windows in the car, but at least this time Microsoft realizes that it needs to adopt a different strategy in the future vehicle market.
