Theano is a Python library that defines, optimizes, and evaluates mathematical expressions that involve multidimensional arrays. The main features include: tightly integrated numpy, easy to use GPU, efficient symbolic differentiation, speed and stability optimization, dynamic C-code generation, large-scale unit testing and self-verification capabilities.

Theano 0.5 provides support for major release point products and other operational experiments, better support for GPU under windows, and sparse matrices for better performance. Now some operations are close to NumPy, removing some obsolete features. This release fixes errors in scans and other modules, and adds many new features.
