There are two ways: 1. Catch the exception and handle it yourself.
           2.throw go out and let someone else handle it.

As an example:
public class a{
  try{
   A statement that could release an exception ...

  }catch (Exception e) {
     E.getmessage ();//Handle yourself
  }

}

public class A throws exception{

     A statement that could release an exception ...

}//throw out and let someone else handle it.
Note that this is throws.
If you use the throw in the method
Example:
public class a{
  try{
   A statement that could release an exception ...

  }catch (Exception e) {
     E.getmessage ();//Handle yourself
     throw new Exception ("");
  }
