HTML5 performance: iOS VS Android
According to a research report published on the local JavaScript and HTML5 platforms for mobile game developers in the early morning of January 1, March 6, the performance of Apple's iPhone and iPad tablets in HTML5 is up to three times better than that of Android devices.
The report also shows that the performance of Android devices varies greatly, with Galaxy Nexus far exceeding that of mobile phones running on earlier Android systems.
This research report focuses on the two largest mobile operating systems, Apple iOS and Android, and does not include operating systems from RIM, Microsoft or other companies.
The latest version of Apple iOS and Google Android both have made significant improvements to HTML5 rendering, but game developers and other developers still believe that improvements are needed. Spaceport. ben Savage, founder of io, said: "Over time, HTML5 is getting faster and faster, as we can see in the latest operating systems such as Android and iOS. Although this is a popular trend, the road to the future remains long ."
Both large and small enterprises are looking at HTML5 as a future mobile platform. The most famous one is Facebook. Mozilla has announced a plan to create an HTML5 app store. Facebook also called on the industry to cooperate on different HTML standards last week.
