One: Custom notification hubs

Lollipop provides users with unprecedented control over notification hubs, each of which can be set up individually in notification hubs and only appear when the user wants to see them. All applications have three settings in the notification hub: hidden, prioritized, sensitive content. If set to hidden, then the app will not appear in the notification heart, if for common applications, can also be set as a priority, in the notification center, if sensitive applications are involved, you can also display reminders in the Notification Center, hide the specific content.

There are two ways to adjust the display, one is to press and hold any notification into the settings, and you can also go to Settings, Sound & Notification Options menu.

Second: Power saving mode

One of the most popular features of Android 5.0 Lollipop is the Power save mode, which saves you a lot of extra power at a critical moment. When power-down mode is turned on, the system turns off vibration and the background of most applications. In addition, the user can also be set to manually turn on or automatically turn on, when the power below 15%, the top of the status bar turned red to show that the current has entered the power-saving mode. Smart lock screen can be based on the scene of the device to intelligently determine whether to enable the lock screen password. Four: Priority mode

Android 5.0 is too new for many people to suspect that Google has removed the feature or that it is a system bug after someone can't find the silent mode. In fact, this is only a small change in the new system notifications, giving users more rights to control how and when information is received, not system bugs. When we press the volume + or volume-button, the screen will appear a volume slider, in normal mode the user can adjust the volume size. In previous Android systems, press the Volume-button, first the volume will be reduced, then to vibrate mode, and finally mute. In the middle of the slider we see a priority feature, which in fact is the new "mute" feature. It will mute almost all notifications by default and the ringtone will be muted. We can set up hidden notifications for an app individually, or let the Android system do it for you automatically. Go to Settings, sound & notifications, device lock, and you'll see three alternative settings, show all, hide sensitive information, and hide. After selecting an item in the middle, when the app appears in the Notification center, only the app name is displayed and the notification content is not displayed.

14: Screen Pinning

Every one of our smartphones is filled with personal information and sensitive content, so it's very worrying to have no good protection. The new "screen pinning" feature added to Android 5.0 will protect users ' privacy. Simply put, it can lock an app to the foreground display, only inside it ain't from around, can't exit to see something else, like your privacy photos. It is located at the bottom of the system settings, Security menu, after activation you need to open the list of recent apps, select the app you want to pin, then click the Pushpin button in the lower right corner. Once an app is locked, Home, the last two navigation keys are disabled, and the return key is only available inside the app. The icon in the top status bar is hidden and the drop-down notification is not available. No doubt, Android 5.0 Lollipop is a milestone update, but it seems that Google is more concerned about how to introduce their own design of new things to users, and ignore the Lollipop on the personalized and flexible space, which will make users feel a sense of regression.
