My SD card contains several directories with a large number of image and video files. It is a game education software. Every time you unplug a USB cable or SD card, the system will scan for half a day, and many messy files will appear in the picture and video list, which is very annoying.

I have been searching for it on the internet for a long time. I hope there will be a place for the system to scan only the specified directory. This is not found, but a method is found to prevent the system from scanning a directory. It is equally useful: Create an empty file under the specified directory and name it. nomedia, the folder will be skipped during system scanning.

Create in windows. nomedia file method: Open notepad, select the menu command "file | save as", select "all files" in "Save type", and enter the file name as ". "nomedia", save and copy it to the corresponding directory of the SD card.
