The iOS operating system allows two applications to run and display on the same screen interface, with a video on the left, a chat window on the right, or a courseware on the left, and a note application on the right.
The ipad's same-screen multitasking feature is divided into three modes: Slideover, Splitview, and picture-drawing patterns.
In Slideover mode, the main application occupies most of the screen, and the other application occupies only a little of the screen. However, on the ipad Air2, two of the size applied on the screen can also be equal to the scale, in half.
The operation of the split screen function is simple. In an application interface, slide from the right side of the screen to the center, and you will see an optional list of applications that will be displayed on the right side of the screen after you choose one of the apps.
If you're on the ipad Air2 and you choose a second application to open, you can pull the inner edge of the application window into the middle, making it split the screen with the first application.
During the demo, we found that in a split-screen mode, if we quit one of the apps and then reopen the app, iOS quickly restores the app to its exit.
In a keynote speech this morning, Apple said the applications developed using auto layout and size Classes for IOS 8 are now compatible with the split-screen feature.
Slide over supports ipad mini 2, ipad Mini 3, ipad Air and ipad Air 2, but the Dian screen features only ipad Air 2 support.
