Azure disk encryption preview is now available in China

Azure disk encryption preview has been released for Windows and Linux IaaS virtual machines in Azure China cloud. So far, Azure disk encryption preview for Windows and Linux IaaS standard-level virtual machines (Standard A, D, and DS series) has been released in China, customers can use industry-standard encryption technology to protect static operating systems and data disks.

The Azure disk encryption feature allows you to encrypt Windows and Linux IaaS Virtual Machine disks. Azure disk encryption leverages the industry-standard BitLocker feature of Windows and the DM-Crypt feature of Linux to provide operating system and data disk encryption to protect your data. It also helps you fulfill your organization's security and compliance commitments. This solution is integrated with the Azure key vault to help you protect, control, and manage disk encryption keys in your keystore subscription, meanwhile, make sure that all data on the VM disk is statically encrypted in your Azure storage.

 

Azure CDN users upload HTTPS self-owned certificates and price adjustments

To meet customers' growing demand for HTTPS encrypted access, we are happy to inform you that Azure CDN officially opens self-help configuration of HTTPS self-owned certificates. With this function, you can upload an existing CDN Domain Name Certificate and private key, bind the certificate to the domain name, and implement self-help deployment. It takes about 2-4 hours to deploy the certificate. The certificate format is PEM, wildcard domain name certificates are also supported. At the same time, starting from January 1, July 1, 2017, the price will change from the pro edition to the Standard Edition CDN service price, providing enterprises with a secure and Fast User experience while reducing costs.
