About MySQL Architecture
The MySQL server is comprised of the SQL layer and the storage engine layer. SQL layer functions include permission judgment, SQL parsing and query cache processing, and the storage engine layer is the completion of the underlying database data storage operations. Such as:

The SQL layer can be divided into three tiers, namely the connection/threading layer, the query cache and the query parser layer, and the optimizer layer. The connection/threading layer is primarily used to handle client requests, authentication, and database security validation. The query cache and Query Analyzer layer is a core part of the SQL layer, responsible for parsing, optimizing, caching, and all of the built-in functions, stored procedures, triggers, views, and so on. The optimizer is primarily responsible for storing and retrieving all data stored in the database.
