Brute force (reset) linux root password

Prior notice:

①, this tutorial does not apply to remote connection to Linux, such as SSL, Xmanager connection to Linux;

②, this tutorial is in the Linux Concle interface to modify the root password, you must be able to directly see the entire Linux boot process to achieve the root password reset;

③, a number of different Linux systems can use this method to crack the root password;

Detailed steps:

1. Open the power supply of the machine with Linux system and press 'e' when entering the system selection interface (e.g.);

2, enter the Linux system selection interface, and then press 'e'

3, enter the kernel selection interface, select the intermediate kernel, and then press 'e';

4, enter the ' Space +1 ' in the edit interface, and then return;

5, back to just the interface, press 'b';

6, start the kernel, you can see the kernel******** behind more ' space +1 ';

7. Enter single-user mode---signgle user modes,

Enter passwd directly, change the root password,

Two times after the password is consistent, the display changes successfully,

Finally enter reboot, restart Linux, you can use the new password to login to the root user.
