CentOS 7 change the root password on the grub Interface

If you want to change the CentOS 7 root password or forget the root password, you can change the root password on the grub interface.

1. Click "e" on the page to edit this option. Generally, the default time of this interface is 5 seconds. You must seize the opportunity or change the time.

2. The following screen will appear, and press the arrow to turn to the end

3. Find linux16...... ro crashdernel = auto..., change "ro" to "rw init =/sysroot/bin/sh", and press Ctrl + x.

4. Enter

:/# Chroot/sysroot

:/# Passwd root

Enter a new password. Repeat the new password.

:/# Touch/. autorelabel

5. Then force the system to restart and the password will be changed.
