On July 22, June 4, according to PCWorld, the hacker group Swagger Security or SwaggSec claimed that it had broken the networks of Warner Brothers and China Telecom, issued relevant documents and published logon certificates.
SwaggSec announced the attack on the file sharing website Pastebin on Sunday and provided links to these files on Pirate Bay. At the beginning of the year, SwaggSec claimed that it had stolen the username and password of the Foxconn Order System of the OEM. Since then, the Group has been very active.
SwaggSec said that the obtained China Telecom data is the username and password of 900 network administrators of the company. SwaggSec said the data was obtained through an insecure SQL Server and sent a message to China Telecom over China Telecom's network. This SQL Server has not been repaired, but is removed.
SwaggSec said: "fortunately for them, we did not destroy their infrastructure and interrupt Communication for millions of customers ." The released Warner Brothers data includes a report titled "confidential" and entitled "content security status update", dated the week of January 1, April 27.
This is an evaluation report on the company's website, listing 10 websites with the most open and moderate vulnerabilities. The report also lists 10 medium-and high-risk vulnerabilities on the network. The two most dangerous vulnerabilities are cross-site scripting (XSS) and no SSL support vulnerabilities.
In response, Warner Brothers did not immediately respond to requests for comments. China Telecom did not comment immediately.
