Third, use "design grid" to create a query. The preceding cross tabulation wizard is used to create a cross tabulation query for a table, which is common in Chinese Access2000. In fact, you can also create a query (including a cross tabulation) based on the query itself. The following describes how to use the "design grid" operation. Third, use "design grid" to create a query
The preceding cross tabulation query operation is performed on a table using the cross tabulation wizard, which is common in Chinese Access 2000. In fact, you can also create a query (including a cross tabulation) based on the query itself. The following describes how to use the "design grid" operation.
Step 1. refer to the previous operations. In the "window", select the "query" item for the "object" group, and click "new" in the "window toolbar. Go to the "new query" dialog box, click the "design view" option, and click the "OK" button.
8. Go to the query tab.
Step 2. Select the table to be queried or an existing query in the displayed table dialog box. When you select "query", you need to use the "query" option card to enter the operation, as shown in 18. After entering this tab, the current database will already exist on the screen.
After completing these two steps, query the "design" View and the "design grid" contained in it will be displayed on the screen, the table or query you selected will also be displayed in the List window in the upper half of the view. This chapter selects the "employees and Tasks" table and the "customer and contract amount" table, see 9.
9. Go to "design grid"
Note:: The two tables selected above have a common primary key _ ID field, which is very important for the cross tabulation query created below. Otherwise, you cannot design it. Because the cross tabulation to be created below is used to query the contract amount between each employee and the customer, the primary key will ensure that a unique value is displayed in the query.
