When the database log is full, the system prompts: the database '**' log is full. Back up the transaction logs of the database to release some log space.
Solution:
1. Clear logs
Dump transaction database name with no_log
2. Compress database files (if not compressed, the database files and log files will not be reduced)
A. Right-click the database you want to compress-> task-> shrink-> File
B. select "log" in "file type"> "shrink operation" and select "re-organize the page before releasing unused space ", here we will provide a minimum number of M that can be reduced. Enter this number directly-> OK
C. perform step a, select "data" in "file type"> "shrink operation", and select "re-organize the page before releasing unused space ", here we will provide a minimum number of M that can be reduced, and enter this number directly-> OK
Data contraction slows down, especially for a few hundred MB or more. Please wait patiently and do not cancel it halfway.
