Colout is a fun little tool that can color other command output. Colout supports regular expression matching. Currently, it has 8-color and 256-color modes. It also supports colormap, subject, and source code syntax coloring.

The general usage of Colout is:

<Command> | colout <matching mode> [color]

For example, executeLs-l ~ | Colout "^ (d *)-* (rwx) (r-x)" blue, red, yellow, greenAs shown in.
