Each version has its own focus, a set of its own files, installation methods and their own version of the Linux kernel.    Debian
Debian Project was born on August 13, 1993, and its goal is to provide a stable, fault-tolerant version of Linux. It's not a company that supports Debian, it's a lot of developers who have invested a lot of time in their improvements, which draws on the experience of early Linux. Debian is known for its stability, although earlier versions of Slink have some problems, but its existing version of potato is fairly stable. This version uses more pluggable authentication modules (PAM) and combines some of the more manageable software (such as Winbind for Samba).
  
The installation of Debian is entirely text-based, which is not a bad thing for itself. But this is not the case for novice users. Because it uses FDISK only as a partitioning tool without automatic partitioning, its disk partitioning process is very annoying.

As a branch of Red Hat Linux, Mandrake is positioning itself on the best Linux version of the desktop market. But the company still supports installation on the server, and the results are not bad.
  
The Mandrake installation is simple and straightforward, setting simple installation options for novice users. It fully uses the GUI interface and makes a simple GUI interface for disk partitions for each user. The selection of packages is very standard, and there are also options for software groups and individual toolkits. After installation, the user only needs to reboot the system and login to enter.
  
Mandrake provides technical support primarily through mailing lists and Mandrak's own web forums. Mandrak is a great choice for desktop users, and it can also serve as a good server system, especially for novice Linux users.    Red Hat Linux

Red Hat Linux is the best performing server in the public environment. It has its own company and can provide users with a complete set of services, making it particularly suitable for use in public networks. Its graphical installation process provides easy setup of all information about the server. SuSE 7.3, based on the 2.4.10 kernel, improves ease of use based on the original version. The installation process is done through the GUI and the disk partitioning process is simple, but it does not provide users with more control and choice.
  
Windows disks are easily accessible under the SUSE operating system, making it easier to switch between the two platforms and to start with a dual system. SuSE hardware detection is excellent, and this version is used very well on both the server and workstation.
  
SuSE has an interface-friendly installation process, as well as a graphical management tool that makes it easy to access Windows disks, and is also convenient for end users and administrators, making it a powerful server platform.
