This article describes how to configure one-way synchronization for ogg In the rac environment. During the configuration process, the two-node rac database serves as the source, and the single-instance database serves as the target and Hong Kong servers, the following describes the specific environment!

I. Configure ASM Dynamic Registration on two rac nodes. The 11g listener introduces endpoints_listener.ora file management.
2. Install ogg on acfs. acfs is used to store the installation directory of ogg, which facilitates sharing of cluster parts. For the deployment process of ocfs2 and acfs on 10 Gb, refer:
Iii. Configure the rac database, create users, grant permissions, and run scripts related to serial numbers and ddl replication.
4. Configure extract group on the source side
5. Configure data pump extract group on the source side.
Vi. target configuration, which must be ensured in tnsnames. the dg3 connection string is configured in the ora file, and the/vol2/ogg/dirdat/rt directory is created and authorized at the same time. It has not been tested whether it is feasible to use different directories on the target and source!
7. Start Processes
The process is scheduled to start at the end. In US space, if the replicat process on the target end is not started before the pump process on the source end is started, the following error is reported:
2012-07-15 13:56:14 ERROR OGG-01033 There is a problem in network communication, a remote file problem, encryption keys for target and source do not match (if using ENCRYPT) or an unknown error. (Remote file used is/vol2/ogg/dirdat/rt000000, reply replicated Ed is cocould not create/vol2/ogg/dirdat/rt000000 ).
8. Test Synchronization
Conclusion: The configuration of ogg and Hong Kong servers in the rac environment is basically the same as that of a single instance! Pay attention to the following points!
1: To use ASM for storage, you must first configure static registration of the ASM instance and configure the connection string in the tnsnames. ora file.
2: In the exttract process, configure the TRANLOGOPTIONS parameter and enter the credential for connecting to the asm instance.
3: In the exttract process, when adding tranlog, you need to write thread 2
4: Pay attention to the Starting sequence of processes. First, the mgr process on the source and target, second, the extract process on the source, the replicat process on the target, and finally the extract pump process on the source.
This article does not include the source-side failover function. We will continue testing in the future. Stay tuned!
