The following are shortcut keys that can be used in the console:
• Ctrl-u: Clear all characters starting from the cursor to the beginning of the row
• Ctrl-H: Clear a character before the cursor
• Ctrl-D: Terminate the input. If the cursor is followed by a character, delete one character. If the command prompt does not contain any input, this shortcut will exit the shell.
• Ctrl-C: TerminateProgramRun
• Ctrl-Z: temporarily stops running the program and enables it to enter the background job
• Ctrl-S: Stop output to the screen
• Ctrl-Q: reactivate the output to the screen
In terms of Console Command assistance:
• The up and down keys in the direction keys can be used to find historical commands used
• Ctrl-R: incrementally searches for a used historical command
• Tab: Automatically complete the file name involved in the command
• Ctrl-alt-DEL: restart the system
