Conversion of String and Date types in java

Source: Internet
Author: User

Problem Background:

In a web project,

1. You need to manually enter a string in the "yyyy-MM-dd" format from the web Front-end, and convert the string to the Date type into a database in the program logic.

2. Data of the Date type needs to be read from the database and converted to the String type.

String ----> Date
SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat ("yyyy-MM-dd ");

Date date = sdf. parse ("1988-10-08"); // print date as Sat Oct 08 00:00:00 CST 1988

Convert the date obtained above to Stringwww.2cto.com
Date --> String

SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat ("yyyy-MM-dd ");

String strDate = sdf. format (date); // print strDate as 1988-10-08

Compare the two outputs to see the difference between the two.
