I. Software overview
PixMaker is a simple and convenient 360-degree panoramic image production software that seamlessly integrates multiple continuous images describing a ring-type scenario to form a 360-degree "scenario" image. You can play the video on the webpage to make your page more lively. The PixMaker software displays panoramic images on the webpage. it is a "Java applet" mini-program component provided by the program itself. as long as the web editor puts this component in the same directory as the Panorama page, you can use a common browser to play panoramic images on a webpage. This is different from the popular "Ulead Cool 360 panoramic production software", which is a panoramic webpage image created by "Ulead Cool 360, the viewer needs to download a "Panorama viewer" plug-in to the browser to play the panoramic picture. In contrast, PixMaker is more convenient to use. PixMaker can automatically process Image boundary connections without any traces of seams. Before you prepare a set of continuous scene images, PixMaker can automatically complete the whole process from creation to release with just a few simple steps. If you want to see the effect of a panoramic web page, visit this demo page: http://rubber-ts.51.net/pm360/test.html. The following describes how to use it.
II. use of software
1. steps and notes for creating a set of panoramic images.
(1) make the photo camera parallel to the ground and preferably fixed on the tripod.
(2) keep the camera at the same height when taking each photo.
(3) take each picture with a fixed point as the center and rotate clockwise.
(4) each photo has an overlapping area of around 30%.
(5) Be sure to take the moving object in the middle of the photo. do not make the photo of the moving object staggered on the boundary, so as to avoid inconvenience caused by the processing of the border of the subsequent photos.
(6) depending on the photo devices you use, use a scanner or other devices to process the photos into JPG format image files. The size of the pictures can be determined based on your own needs, file names should be listed alphabetically.

2. Input Multiple consecutive scene images to the PXIMAKER processing window.
(1) start the PixMaker program. three big icons are displayed on the top of the program window, marked with "1-Snap" and "2-Stitch" respectively) 3-Publish (Publish a "scenario"). below is the "Stitch" tab window. (SEE)
(2) click the "1-Snap" (capture image) icon, select "My computer" in the displayed dialog box, and click "OK, in the open file input dialog box, find the directory for saving the file. This article for convenience, take the SAMPLE directory of the PIXMAKER program comes with the picture file as an example, it is a group of exhibition hall scene pictures, the file name is "Sample01-Sample12 ". Press the "SHIFT" key, select this group of files with the mouse, or press the ALT key, select the desired image file with the mouse, and then press "OPEN) button. the selected image files are arranged in the window above the Stitch tab and a toolbar appears, there are operation command icons such as insert, delete, move image, Image Type, and Lens selection (Lens) on the top, so you will not be familiar with them here. Select 360 degrees for the image type and Auto for the lens. this is also the default value given when the software is started.

3. Stitch images
This step is to seamlessly connect multiple images captured above to form a 360-degree panoramic "scenario" image. The operation is very simple. you only need to click the second "Stitch" icon, and the PixMaker program will automatically process the boundary alignment and connection of the image, in a pop-up processing window, you can dynamically view the entire process of automatic image processing. The scene image is displayed in the following window (see the following window ). Now you can use the mouse pointer to manipulate the image and enjoy the generated 360-degree rotating panoramic image. Drag the mouse horizontally to move the image left and right. press the "Shift" key and move the cursor up and down to zoom in and out the "scene" image. You can use the toolbar at the bottom left of the scene window to zoom in, zoom out, and rotate scene images automatically. you can click any position in the scene image with the mouse pointer to stop moving the scene, the operation method is flexible and convenient. If you are not satisfied with the border connection effect of the automatically generated scene image, you can also manually adjust the border connection of the image.
4. add hotspot links in scenarios
After creating a scene image, click the "HotSpot" tab. a prompt dialog box appears, asking you to save the generated scene image first, in the dialog box, you are required to select the image quality and image size. Here we select "good" (better) for the image quality, and select the image size: "Optimize for web" (optimized by webpage usage), click "NEXT" to save the scene image to the specified directory in the displayed File Save dialog box. The prompt box appears, asking you to save the currently edited project file to the specified directory for later modification and editing. After completing the preceding operations, a hotspot editing window and a toolbar are displayed. click the second command icon to add a link to the webpage on the scene image, fill in the page address of the link and the content of the hotspot prompt in the displayed dialog box, and press the "OK" button to complete a hotspot link. Multiple link hotspots can be added to the scene, each hotspot is displayed as a small frame to indicate the position you click.
5. publish the scenario to the web page
The final purpose of our discussion here is to display 360-degree scene images on the webpage. Click the "Publish" icon at the top of the window, select "web page (.html)" in the dialog box, and click "NEXT" to select a webpage template, click "NEXT", enter the title and relevant instructions in the dialog box, and select the length and width of the scene image displayed on the webpage under the dialog box, press the "NEXT" button and name the file "mypage.html" to save the generated webpage file to the specified directory. then, a dialog box is displayed, prompting you to store the page file in the directory, the program also copies some necessary files to this directory, because the PixMaker program displays images on the webpage supported by the "Java applet" applet. Note! You need to carefully write down these file names and upload them to the same directory as the page containing panoramic images when uploading the pages to your server in the future, in this way, the "scenario" image can be played normally. If you want to insert a "scenario" image to your existing webpage, use a text file editing tool to open the page file generated by the program and directly ....... "Paste the content contained in the tag to the appropriate location on your own page. In addition, the parameters related to the applet in these statements, such as the display width-width, display height-height, automatic scroll speed-autoPanSpeed, and other values, can be manually modified.

So far, we have completed the whole process of creating a panoramic image on the webpage. most of the operations are automatically completed by the "PixMaker" program, isn't it very easy!
It can also generate a panoramic image into an executable "EXE" file, which can play a panoramic image separately and send it to your friends using a E-MAIL, it's so cool that they can enjoy your panoramic images from afar!
