How do i display a command prompt on a Linux desktop system?
First, click Start/System tool, locate the terminal shortcut, right-click, and select "Add this initiator to panel".
In order to make the terminal running effect looks pleasing to the eye, you also need to the terminal window for the following settings:
Open the Terminal window and select Edit/Current profile
(1) Change the display mode of the terminal. On the title and Command tab, select "Run command as Login Shell".
(2) Change the font. On the General tab, remove the check box with the same font for other applications checkbox and specify the font to be courier, size 14, and check boxes that allow bold text to be checked out.
Note that if you want to enter Chinese characters at the command prompt, you must select a Chinese character font, or the Chinese characters will not be displayed at the command prompt.
(3) Change color scheme. In the Color tab, "Use colors from the system theme", and select the built-in scheme for "white white on black background".
Through the above simple configuration, in the terminal window to enter the command is more convenient and beautiful.
