When I write the select statement to retrieve the data of this table, an error message is displayed, indicating that the table has fragments and cannot be used normally, after searching, you need to use the reorg command to clear the fragments. After executing the reorg command, you can retrieve the data again. It is a bit incredible that Oracle will also produce fragments, but Oracle will not affect your continued use.
 
It is becoming increasingly difficult to use DB2 because it has many problems. For example:
1. Without a client tool such as a good tool, the control center of DB2 is not as good as that of mssql and oracle.
2. Restoration is troublesome. rollback and redirection are often required. Restoring with the restore command really took me a lot of time.
3. Some tables, such as T20090815_171657, are generated inexplicably. After searching for the tables, it is still unclear why. We need to schedule a special study.
4. sorting of the NULL value and the time type. The NULL value is listed first.
5. CRUD or adding or deleting fields to a table is too many, which may cause table problems. For example,-668 56018 does not allow you to add columns to a table defined by EDITPROC. In this case, you need to reorg table.
There may be other things that you cannot remember.
 
The list is related to the user experience. I believe that DB2 is very powerful. After all, it has been around for more than 20 years, but it does not make me feel easy to use. The current system has a strong relationship with another system, while the other system uses mssql. consider adjusting the system to support mssql. In this way, you have one more choice, it can also pave the way for future productization.
