Debian Common commands

Some Common commands of debian-the Linux Release Technology-Debian information. For details, refer to the following section. Some of them can't remember, simply cp.

Dpkg? Debian package Installation Tool

Apt-get? APT command line front end

Aptitude? Advanced Character and command line frontend of APT

Synaptic? APT front-end of GUI

Dselect? Use the package management tool on the menu interface

Tasksel? Task Installation Tool

Dpkg-reconfigure the installed software package (if it is configured using debconf)

Dpkg-source-manage source package

Dpkg-buildpackage-automatically generate package files

Apt-cache-check the package file in the Local Buffer

Apt-get check # update the buffer and check for corrupted software packages

Apt-cache search pattern # search software packages by text description to see which packages are available for selection

Apt-cache policy package # package's priority/dists Information

Apt-cache show-a package # displays the package Description in all dists

Apt-cache showsrc package # displays the corresponding source package information

Apt-cache showpkg package # Software package debugging information

Dpkg -- audit |-C # search for unfinished software packages

Dpkg {-s | -- status} package... # description of the installed software package

Dpkg-l package... # status of installed software packages (each occupies one row)

Dpkg-L package... # list the names of the files installed by the Software package
