If there is more than one iso file in the sda5 partition, it is recommended to put the debian-40r4a-i386-netinst.iso in the root directory, other iso into other folders. During the installation process, you will search for iso by yourself, but it is not intelligent. This allows the installer to find the correct iso file.

5. Add it to/boot/grub/menu. list.

Add a sentence to/etc/apt/source. list.

Then you can install pppoeconf.

8. Update source on the Internet.

So you can install the updated kernel.

Install several dependent files
Aptitude install libidl0 libqt3-mt libsdl1.2debian libstmt1.1
Fortunately, these files can be satisfied in etch, and do not need to be compiled by yourself.

Then, you can officially install it.

In case of any exceptions, the installation should be successful. Then, add the user. I like to directly edit the/etc/group file and manually add users. After adding the account, exit X, log out of the user, log in again, and run groups. If you see vboxusers in the output, the account is successfully added.

Now, Virtualbox has been installed, and you can run Virtualbox (note that V is capitalized ).
