Drwxr-xr-x Usage Details:

The first value indicates the file type. D is a directory file, l is a link file,-is a common file, p is a pipeline

The second-to-second digit indicates the owner of the file has the permission. r indicates read, w indicates write, and x indicates execution.

The 5-7 characters indicate the permissions of users in the same group as the file owner.

The 8-10 digits indicate the permissions of other users.

Illustration:

Example: drrwx-xr-x user1 group1 filename

It indicates that filename is a directory. user1 has the read and write permissions for execution. users in the same group1 group as user1 have the read-only and execution permissions, while other users have the read-only and execution permissions.
