First, pre-installation preparation work:

1. Modify the computer name:

The computer name of the server is important for logging on to the Oracle database! remember!

(1) After you install the Oracle database, and then modify the computer name, you may not be able to start the service, that is, you cannot use the OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) in your browser;

(2) When Oracle Net Manager configures an Oracle server-side listener, the server's computer name is also used.

2. Unzip the 2 installation files, then copy the 2nd extracted file to the corresponding location of the 1th extracted file, as shown in:

Second, we formally install Oracle 11g R2:

1. Open the 1th unpacked folder and double-click Setup.exe as shown:

2. Enter the e-mail address as shown:

3. It is strongly recommended that you select the " Install only database software " item, which separates the software installation from the database creation, so that you can step through separate two processes, and perform easy inspection, configuration, and patch applications after installing the software.

Select the Single instance database installation as shown in the following:

We select the most functional Enterprise Edition, as shown in:

Below, select the installation location as shown in the requirements:

The following figure examines the summary, and if it is correct, click Done, as shown in:

As shown, the installation begins:

As shown, the installation is complete:
