Div + CSS does not necessarily conform to the standard

Recently, more people use Div + CSS to represent XHTML. This is fundamentally incorrect!

First, CSS is a technology called stylesheet. Some people call it cascading stylesheet, while div is a label in HTML. Div and table are at the same level, so you should not connect Div and CSS to represent XHTML.

Second, div + CSS does not necessarily conform to the standard. XHTML is not just Div + CSS. Many websites or forums that claim to have used Div + CSS for reconstruction cannot pass w3.org verification. (For example, the dynamic network forum and vtbbs cannot pass the XHTML verification of w3.org .) Even if it passes the verification, it only indicates that it is syntactically correct. Many websites still have the suspicion of abusing Div.

Therefore, do not be overly infatuated with Div + CSS.
