Django test whether the installation is successful

Django testing is successful. after we have installed django, we should not rush to develop it. First, we should know whether our django is successfully installed. Note: Some children's shoes cannot be installed successfully. most of the reasons are: permission issues and the current user's permissions are insufficient. Django will write files in/usr/local/lib/during installation. Therefore, before installation, make sure that the current user has the permission to operate the lib directory. This ensures success.

Let's get down to the point. let's see if our django has been successfully installed...

1. switch to any directory in linux and enter the following command:
Shell # python

The result is as follows:

Python 2.7.2 (default, Jan 19 2012, 18:26:31)
[GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-51)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.

2. try to introduce the django module and enter the following command:

>>> Import django

No output or error reported, indicating that the import was successful.

3. check the django version and enter the following command:

>>> Django. VERSION

Note: All versions are in uppercase.

Output result:

(1, 4, 3, 'final', 0)

Indicates the final version of 1.4.3.

This also indicates that the django is successfully installed!
