At the Zend annual user group meeting held at the San Jose convention center last Tuesday, RightScale chief technology officer Thorsten von Eicken presented the platform and cloudComputingThe Development Conference introduced the features of the platform.

Andi Gutmans, CEO and founder of Zend technology, revealed that his company has developed a new version of Zend Server 5.0 and provided developers with a public beta version. The Zend server's open source code can be downloaded from the Zend.com website.

Zend Server helps to analyze errors and diagnose code tracking problems, and allows the system administrator to set rules for Zend servers to prevent errors from happening again.

He said that Zend Server of version 5.0 will also support the latest version of PHP 5.3. The Zend server production version will be available by the end of this year.
