Features of DB2 Stinger

IBM uses Stinger to name the new version of DB2 Universal Database, which shows that this product will have fast, powerful, and efficient features, using the "Stinger" independent database, it can automatically handle maintenance tasks such as fault handling and system monitoring that were previously undertaken by the database administrator, reducing the labor intensity by 80%, greatly improving the work efficiency. For example, system configuration and optimization tasks that can be completed in the past six hours can be completed in less than one hour. Stinger can also support large SQL query statements ranging from 64 KB to 2 MB. It supports a cluster with a deployment Speed of 4 nodes per hour from 2 to 1000 servers.
