Accelerate LINUX with tmpfs File System

Use the tmpfs file system to accelerate LINUX-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. The system will load/dev/shm by default. You can use df to check whether it is tmpfs.
Like a virtual disk, tmpfs can use RAM or SWAP
It is a file system, not a block device.
Advantages:
1. Dynamic File System
2tmpfs is very fast, because it is completely resident in RAM
Note: when the machine is restarted, it will disappear.

Now let's start: Create a tmp folder in/dev/shm, and then bind it with the actual

Mkdir/dev/shm/tmp
Chmod 1777/dev/shm/tmp
Mount -- bind/dev/shm/tmp
Note: If you have content in tmp, the/tmp file will be cleared in the previous step. If you have installed mysql, the mysql. sock file will be lost. So put the above steps in/
Usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe -- user = mysql & the execution is OK.
