Cve id: CVE-2011-2437
Adobe Reader (also known as Acrobat Reader) is an excellent PDF document reading software developed by Adobe. Acrobat is a series of products launched in 1993 for enterprises, technicians and creative professionals, making smart document delivery and collaboration more flexible, reliable, and secure.
Adobe Acrobat and Reader have the remote heap buffer overflow vulnerability. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code with the current user permission.
Adobe graphic Parsing Library has a vulnerability. When a Reader parses a. PCX image, a 32-bit cyclic counter is created based on the height and width of the image. Then go to the loop and copy the data from the file to the memory buffer. However, the cyclic counter used in this function is a 16-bit integer, in this way, when the maximum cyclic counter is greater than 0xFFFF, it enters an infinite loop. This vulnerability allows remote code execution.
