Preparing disk Partitions

• Create mount Directory

Mkdir/mntmkdir/mnt/bootmkdir/mnt/home

• Hangs on the root partition and swap

  mount the root partition on/mnt. After the, create directories for and mount any other partitions (/mnt/boot,/mnt/home, ...) and activate your swap parti tion if you want them to being detected later by Genfstab.

Mount/dev/sdax/mntmount/dev/sdax/bootmount/dev/sdax/home

Connect to Network

• Wireless:

Wifi-menu

• Edit Mirror List

Wget-o/etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist https://www.archlinux.org/mirrorlist/all/

Installation system

PACSTRAP/MNT Base

Configuring the System

• Generate an fstab file (Use-u or-l to define by UUID or labels):

Genfstab-p/mnt >>/mnt/etc/fstab

• Chroot

Arch-chroot/mnt

• Set the hostname:

echo computer_name >/etc/hostname

• Set The time zone:

Ln-sf/usr/share/zoneinfo/zone/subzone/etc/localtime

• Set the locale:

Nano-w/etc/locale.genlocale-gen

• Set the password:

passwd

Create a new initial RAM disk:

Mkinitcpio-p Linux

Install a bootloader:

• Install GRUB2:

Pacman-s Grubgrub-install--target=i386-pc--RECHECK/DEV/SDA

• Dual-booting:

Pacman-s Os-prober

• Generating the Grub configuration file

Grub-mkconfig-o/boot/grub/grub.cfg
