Setting up the AWS CLI

$ AWS Configure

The files generated by the CLI for the configuration file configured in the previous section are as follows:

~/.aws/credentials

[default]aws_access_key_id=Akiaiosfodnn7exampleaws_secret_access_key=wjalrxutnfemi/k7mdeng/ Bpxrficyexamplekey

~/.aws/config

[default]region=us-west-2

To get help when using the AWS CLI, you only need to add it at the end of the command help . For example, the following command lists the general AWS CLI options and help for the available top-level commands.

$ AWS Help
