Bugzilla Installation Process

Bugzilla + Mysql + iis + perl module + ActivePerl Installation Process

I. Required Software

The required software for installing bugzilla includes MySQL database software, activeperl software, bugzilla installation package, and IIS components.

Installation environment

Operating System OS: Windows Platform

Bugzilla: 4.2 or above

Database: MYSQL: v5.5.21 For Windows or later

Web Server: IIS Server or Web Server: Apache 2.2.22 (released) or later

Perl Parser: ActivePerl-5.14.2.1402-MSWin32-x86-295342.msi or above http://www.perl.org/

 

Note: It should be noted that I have assumed that there is an SMTP mail server on your computer. If not, I can download this service online. Alternatively, you can use windows to build a pop3 SMTP mail server.

Ii. Install and set up a MySQL database

1. 1. Install MySQL database
2. 2. I'm using a mysql-5.5.21-win32.msi for the MySQL Installer http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/

Double-click the MySQL database installation software to go to the following interface:

 

Click next

 

Select custom and click next.

 

Change the MySQL installation directory and click change

 

Change the path in folder name to c: \ MySQL and click OK.

 

Click next to check whether the changed path is correct

 

Click install to install the database. The following page appears.

 

Click next until the following page is displayed:

 

Click the finsh button. the MySQL database is successfully installed, but the following page appears to configure MySQL.

 

Click next and the following page appears.

 

In this interface, select the standard configuration option and click next
