2.Installation and ConfigurationOperating System2.1 Disk mount recommendations
Mount the large storage in the "/var" directory because the streaming media server's audio and video data (including archive, broadcast, buffering, and temporary content) is stored by default in the "/var" directory.
The system disk and the data disk are mounted separately to avoid the impact on the system operation when the audio and video content is full of storage. The system directory of the streaming media server is the "/etc" directory.
2.2 CentOS installation
Custom installation, the Web services, FTP services, database services are not installed by default, saving system resources.
2.3 Open Network port
The streaming media server system needs to occupy the following ports:
Port Broadcast and Web Management Services for the HTTP protocol
1935 Port broadcast for RTMP Protocol
Port SSH Remote Management
Port FTP Protocol
To open these ports on the host and network.
3. Install the Media Server package
The installation package includes three rpm files, namely the PHP Environment installation package, the server System installation package, the Transcoding module installation package. First copy the installation package to the server, such as the copy in the "/home/" directory, installed in the following order.
1) Install the PHP Environment Pack
RPM-IVH ntv_php_pack-5.5.4-1.x86_64.rpm
If you are prompted for a missing dependent library during the installation process, make sure that the server is connected to the Internet by executing the following command:
Yum Install Openssl-devel
Then execute the PHP Environment Pack installation command.
If prompted with a conflict, add the--force option to the rpm command .

If prompted with a conflict, add the--force option to the rpm command .
4 Get License file
There are two ways to get License.
