As Windows Phone 7.8 is coming soon, Microsoft is the first to provide developers with the download of the Windows Phone 7.8 SDK, so that developers can update their applications to be compatible with Microsoft's wp7.8 system, for example, add three types of dynamic magnetic stickers to an application.
Introduction:The Windows Phone SDK Update for Windows Phone 7.8 adds two new simulator images to your existing Windows Phone SDK for installation. This update supports both Windows Phone SDK 7.1 and Windows Phone SDK 8.0. With this update, you can use the Windows Phone 7.5 app to provide the "Start" screen experience for Windows Phone 8.
Overview:
The Windows Phone SDK Update for Windows Phone 7.8 adds the following content to your existing Windows Phone SDK installation:
• New Windows Phone simulator 7.8
• New Windows Phone simulator 7.8 (256 MB)
• Functions provided in Windows Phone SDK 7.1.1 (applicable to Windows Phone SDK 7.1 Users)
Note: you must first install Windows Phone SDK 8.0 or Windows Phone SDK 7.1 before installing Windows Phone SDK updates for Windows Phone 7.8. For more information about Windows Phone 7.8, see the Windows Phone developer documentation.
