This Linux version of Picasa already includes a Windows version, so you only need to download and install the Picasa software directly from Google. you do not need to download Wine separately. There are also indications that Google has already migrated Google Talk's Linux version internally, because Google recently hired Sean Egan, one of the main developers of the open-source IM tool GAIM.
