Install Anaconda and Python on Windows

Since Anaconda comes with Python by default (probably not the latest version), you can install Python directly by installing Anaconda.

This article focuses on the solution to add a previously installed Python to Anaconda after installing Python and then installing Anaconda

Assuming that you have installed Pythonxx (xx is the version number), below you have downloaded the Anaconda

1, the installation of the time two check box should not be checked (one is added to the environment variable, the other is what forget)

2, after the installation is completed, the system environment variable python path, modify the path you installed Anaconda Python

3. Then copy the folder (PYTHONXX) from your previously installed Python directory to the Envs folder in the installation Anaconda directory

Enter Conda info-e or Conda info--envs in cmd to see if your Python version information is available

# Conda environments: #pythonxx              *  D:\Anaconda3\envs\pythonxxroot                     D:\Anaconda3

4. After installation, use activate to activate an environment

# once installed, use activate to activate an environment. # For Windows # For Linux & Mac # after activation, you will find that terminal entered more than the pythonxx of the word # if you want to return to the default previous Python environment, run # For Windows # For Linux & Mac # Remove an existing environment Conda remove--name pythonxx--all
