The JBuilder software offers three different versions: personal, professional, and enterprise. The Personal edition is free to download, containing only the core editor and debugger functionality. The professional version is much more powerful than the personal version, which contains all the features of the Standard Edition, but it is now available only through purchase, and no evaluation has been given for this release. The enterprise version of the high-end product contains some additional functionality, and these additional features in the Enterprise version are free software that has the expiration date. The product can also be bundled with Borland enterprise Servers, rational rose, and the rational Unified process. The product bundled up for sale is called JBuilder Enterprise Studio.

A comprehensive feature

JBuilder actually contains everything you need in the Java Integrated development environment. Because JBuilder and several separate source code processing products are integrated, it can support a variety of Java Development Toolkit versions.
