Kali version: Kali 2.0
First, configure the SSH parameters
To modify the Sshd_config file, the command is: vi/etc/ssh/sshd_config
Remove the comment for #passwordauthentication No and modify No to Yes//kali default Yes
Modify Permitrootlogin Without-password to permitrootlogin Yes
Then save Exit VI Editor.
Second, start the SSH service
The command is:/ETC/INIT.D/SSH start
or service SSH start
To see if the SSH service status is working correctly, the command is:
/ETC/INIT.D/SSH status
Or
Service SSH Status
Note: These two types of startup ssh are temporary, if the machine restart you need to re-enter the above command to open ssh, if the SSH service needs to start automatically the next time, you need to use the following command to start the SSH service, the command is:
UPDATE-RC.D SSH enable//system automatically start SSH service
UPDATE-RC.D SSH disabled//Shut down system to start SSH service automatically
Third, if the above two steps are finished or can not login Kali Linux ssh, you need to generate two secret keys
So, Sir, two keys:
#ssh-keygen-t dsa-f/etc/ssh/ssh_host_dsa_key
#ssh-keygen-t dsa-f/etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key
After executing the command will let enter the password, directly hit enter set to empty
Four, to this SSH can normally log on, OK.
