About linux-fedora 18 (non-virtual machines) Lack of access to IP addresses and the problem of surfing the Internet a few days ago, my laptop suddenly failed to get an IP address. Because I only installed the fedora18 system, I just started playing linux soon, it's an English version! Therefore, you can only find a windows system computer to traverse the entire internet. After reading the experiences of countless predecessors, there is still no solution. In the end, it was found that there was a problem with the vro settings. If there is so much nonsense, I will share the detailed problem and handling process below. Please do not make a brick! Problem description: 1. the network cannot obtain the ip address. You can use the ifconfig command to find that the network device of the wired and wireless network is enabled, but the ip address cannot be obtained. 2. wireless Network Card can detect wireless network; 3. manually set the static ip address. If the name is ifconfig, no ip address is displayed. 4. if you are using a windows system computer, you cannot obtain the ip address, but the display is restricted. However, you can access the Internet by setting the ip address manually. Cause: in fact, it was found that it was a guy with a "DHCP" Script: DHCP is short for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, which is one of the TCP/IP Protocol clusters, it was mainly used to allocate Dynamic IP addresses to network clients. On that day, I was wondering if there would be any immoral people who would be jealous of the network. So I tried to set a daily environment for the vro, of course, the "DHCP" of the vro is also disabled, and all the ip addresses of the vrodhcp PC are manually set. Solution: Enable "DHCP" in the vro to solve the problem.
