Linux Learning (1) Add new users under unbuntu
I recently installed a dual-system and started to work with unbuntu. Linux is a multi-user operating system. Many operations require administrator permissions. All administrator permissions are very important, for beginners, we 'd better use the permissions of a general user. Compared with beginners, we do not know much about many things. If we use an administrator privilege, it is likely to cause many irreversible effects. Then, we added a standard user to meet our general needs for learning.
Step 1: Go to system settings and find the user account options:
Step 2: Unlock the current user:
Step 3: after unlocking, we can add new users:
Step 4: Create a new user;
Here, we can create a new user. Switch the user and use the new user. This user is only a standard user. We still need to obtain permissions for some operations.
