One, close Oracle services and background processes
1. Review the installation's home directory and environment variables:
- Echo $ORACLE _home
- env | grep ORA
2. View the instance Name
- Sqlplus/as SYSDBA
- Select instance_name from V$instance;
3. View the Oracle background process started
ps –ef |grep ora_
4. Close the service
- Shutdown immediate;
- Ps–ef |grep ora_//can see the background process is gone
- Lsnrctl Status//View listener State
5. Stop Oracle's Listener
lsnrctl stop
Ii. Uninstalling Oracle
1. Delete subdirectories and files under the $oracle_home directory
- CD $ORACLE _home
- Pwd
- Cd/u01/app/oradata/helen
- RM-RF *
2. Delete the three files under/usr/local/bin: dbhome,oraenv,coraenv
- Su-root
- Cd/usr/local/bin
- RM-RF Dbhome
- RM-RF oraenv
- RM-RF coraenv
3. Delete two files under/etc: Oratab and Oralnst.loc
- Cd/etc
- RM-RF Oratab
- RM-RF Orainst.loc
4. Delete the Orclfmap subdirectory of the/OPT directory
rm –rf /opt/ORCLfmap
5. Delete established users and groups Oinstall and DBAs
- Su–oracle
- ENV | GRP ORA
- Su Root or WhoAmI see who the current user is
- RM–RF/U01 Delete all Files
- Cat/etc/pass Viewing users
- Cat/etc/group viewing groups
6. Multiple exit exit and re-login with root
- Userdel–r Oracle
- Groupdel Oinstall
- Groupdel DBA
Note: If you need to reinstall, you do not need to hurt Oracle users and groups
