Long-term Experience and shortcomings in using medium-sized Access databases
When an Access database is in use, the following problems occur:
1. The Update statement may fail. If a record exists, you can select it. However, when Update is used, an error message indicating that the record cannot be found and the Update fails.
2. This will increase the database size and reduce the efficiency of database operations.
3. When deleting a record, the database size is not reduced, and no statement can be improved for the database.
Solution
Download the Access database, open it with the Access software, and use the "repair and compression Database" tool for processing. Save and re-upload and overwrite the original database to solve all the above problems. this method is more suitable for small and medium databases, and it is too slow to use the download method.
