Manual security check to ensure system security and stable operation
Microsoft has heard of File digital signature verification. Microsoft introduces a digital signature mechanism for key files of the system to maintain system integrity. Because the integrity of key files in the operating system is very important, only by ensuring their integrity and not being tampered with can the system be secure and stable. Windows 10 has built-in file signature verification tools, which can easily check the integrity and security of system files. At the same time, you can also check the externally installed programs and drivers. It can be used to find files with "UNKNOWN identities" in the system.
First, you need to know how to call this tool. Press Win + R to bring up the "run" window, enter the "SIGVERIF" command, and run it (figure 1 ). In the file signature verification window, click the start button at the bottom of the interface to start scanning the digital signatures of important files in the system (Figure 2 ). Scanned items include system device drivers and system files.
TIPS:
If you click the "advanced" button, you can also set and customize the file signature log file. The generated log file can be viewed by the "view log" button (Figure 3 ).
After the scan, if the file is displayed with a digital signature, the system is operating normally. All the files comply with the Microsoft Windows signature standards (figure 4 ). However, if a project fails to pass the digital signature in the scan result, you must take it seriously and carefully. In general, if the device driver has not been verified by signature, it is likely that the merchant's device has not been verified by Microsoft's digital signature, but the device can still be used normally, which is a normal phenomenon. The unverified USB device driver appears in the scan result shown in Example 5 (figure 5 ). However, if a system file with an unknown origin path does not pass signature verification, you need to check its specific origin path. If necessary, you can search for relevant information online. If it may be a file that threatens system security, delete and unmount the file.
