Maxthon is a free browser based on the open-source Chrome browser engine. It has been reported that it is about to launch the Linux version. Although we cannot get this version yet, Ben B, a sports guy posted several screens about Maxthon for Linux. Did you look familiar? Maxthon is developed based on the Chromium engine, but I believe its UI is not finalized yet. It should be similar to Windows and Mac.

Apart from the differences in the UI, the lack of functionality makes it look like a very common Chrome browser clone. However, this is still the Alpha stage, which can be understood. The only thing that is commendable is its performance, Ben said:
"It looks very fast. In terms of UI/settings, it is obviously based on Chromium, which is quite useful ."
Not just a new browser
So far it has been okay, although many people laugh at it as nothing more than another browser developed for Linux. But Maxthon does not seem to be like this:
- ProvideWindows, Mac, iOS, Android & Windows PhoneAnd other multi-platform versions
- Cross-platform unified UI
- "Cloud Push"Can send webpage content to another device
- "Cloud Sync"Tabs and bookmarks can be shared on different devices.
- "Cloud Download"Files downloaded from cloud storage
- "Split Screen"Two webpages can be displayed on the same screen.
- Support existing Chrome extensions
