Basic syntax
The syntax format for MongoDB database creation is as follows:
Use database_name
If the database does not exist, create the database, or switch to the specified database.
Instance
The following example we created the database Coderschool:
> Use coderschoolswitched to DB coderschool> dbcoderschool>
If you want to see all the databases, you can use the show DBS command:
> Show dbslocal 0.078GBtest 0.078gb>
As you can see, the database Coderschool we just created is not in the list of databases, and to display it, we need to insert some data into the Coderschool database.
Instance:
> Db.runoob.insert ({"Name": "Technology brings you closer to me"}) Writeresult ({"ninserted": 1}) > show Dbscoderschool 0.078GBlocal 0. 078GBtest 0.078gb>
Operation Process Diagram:
The default database in MongoDB is test, and if you do not create a new database, the collection will be stored in the test database.
